Of all the Aspen resorts, Ajax Mountain is better suited for intermediates to experts. Due to its steeper slopes, it is not a place recommended to beginners. It is undoubtedly the ideal place for people who really want to challenge and/or people who are experienced of skiing.

Deer Valley Ski Resort: One Of The Best In The US

Although some of the best skiing in the United States can be found at Aspen Colorado ski resorts, Deer Valley Ski Resort in Park City, Utah is a great place to not only get in some skiing or snowboarding, but can also make a great place to take a summer vacation.

Established in the year 1981, it is famous in the world of skiing. It is also famous for its highly accommodating services to tourists. From 2001 to 2005, the readers of the Ski Magazine rated it as the number one resort in America.

Want To Go Skiing, But Aren’t Sure Where To Go?

The Heavenly Ski Resort is located on the Nevada-California border, it has thirty lifts and ninety seven runs and these are spread out between these two states. It is one of the best ski resorts and has four base facilities. In total, the resort is spread across an area of 19 kilometers square, or if you like 4,800 acres.

Heavenly Ski Resort, purchased by Vail Resorts Inc. in 2002 and still under this company’s ownership, sits higher than any of the other South Lake Tahoe resorts. You don’t have to worry about a lack of snow when it comes to this resort! Not only does this area have an annual snowfall average around 360 inches (about 9 meters), but it also boasts one of the United State’s biggest snowmaking systems.

The slopes at Ajax Mountain wouldn’t be a very good place for beginners to test their ski legs, as it contains many steep slopes. However, intermediate to expert skiers would find the slopes a refreshing challenge and wonderful thrill. Ajax Mountain is a ski enthusiast’s favorite among all of the Aspen resorts.
